Hey, everybody. Welcome back to Cammie's Gar… uhh… Backyard. A friend of mine asked me to make a new D&D dice
box for him. This is what I came up with. It is made out of walnut and mahogany. Let me show you how I made it. This is it. Unfortunately, my mahogany splines ended up
blending in with the rest of this walnut, because this is end grain. End grain ends up looking darker when you
put oil on it. The mahogany on the top looks great, however. Uh, there are some other issues, but I am
pretty happy with how it came out overall. I originally had mahogany trim on here as
well. Unfortunately, there was too much material
between the magnets. It would not hold the top on securely. Now, it is very secure. Unfortunately, I did not think to check the
polarity of my magnets. It only fits on one way. If you try to put it on the other way, it
does not stay on very well.
One of the magnets repels. It goes on well the other way. This is the first time I tried something like
this. The fit and finish is not as good as I would
have liked. Hey, it is my first one. If you made it this far, thanks a lot for
watching. Make sure you hit that like and subscribe
