Scrap Wood Mallet / Hurdalardan Bir Tarafı Metal, Ahşap Tokmak Yapımı

In this project, I made one side of the scrap materials, a metal wooden mallet. I used the iron piece and an old pipe I bought from the junkyard I cleaned her rust with sandpaper I cut it not to be too heavy I filled the gap with welding then I fixed the 20 cm long screw with the welding machine I cut two pipe pieces 1 cm wide I shaped an 18 cm long oak wood by turning I carefully shaped the edges so that the iron rings would pass completely.

Then I started to open the slot of the iron piece. I expanded the hole by turning I gave the final shape with a chisel Next is the construction of the stem. First I cleaned the part of the shell with the nail file then I put it to final shape with hand planer I opened the slot of the handle I cleaned the excess with sandpaper now I can put the pieces together. I put the iron firmly in its socket and tightened two nuts on the other side I opened two screw holes to prevent the rings from coming off I cut the excess Finally I applied teak oil one more tool took its place in my workshop thanks for watching
