Sci-Fi Inspired Wood Art – Woodturning, Woodworking

I messed up. There is not going to be enough overlap. I just realized that I messed up. I made these rings too big, compared to these. Or, these are too small for these. What I am going to do is take these, and every
other one, I am going to try to cut just a little bit off the edge here on the mitre
saw to make the rings smaller.

Still not enough. I made these significantly smaller. Now there is a lot of overlap between these
two rings. Uh-oh! I forgot to turn on the camera. I basically just sanded these flat after removing
these dowels. Now I can glue these together. I have made this too thin here. Crap! This has become a comedy of errors now. I made this too thin. This is not thick enough right here, I think,
to glue on a couple more rings. I am going to call this one a failure. This one went so well. I do not get it. Usually, you mess up the first one. I have to start from scratch with a new one.
