Rev-A-Shelf to acquire Top Drawer Components

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rev-A-Shelf Co. LLC announced it has reached an agreement in principle to purchase Top Drawer Components of Apache Junction, Arizona.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of April. Terms of the agreement, announced April 9, were not disclosed.

Rev-A-Shelf said it will continue and expand all manufacturing for Top Drawer out of the Apache Junction facility. Top Drawer Components is a leading manufacturer of wood drawer boxes and accessories in the Southwestern United States.

The company will become a subsidiary of Rev-A-Shelf and service an expanded customer base. Rev-A-Shelf said it will retain all current staff and management going forward.

We wanted the capability to produce ‘Made in America’ wood accessories that will grow Top Drawers’ current model and supplement the needs of our core Rev-A-Shelf customers as well. It is the perfect platform to establish our domestic wood product production.”

Established in 1984 and headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Rev-A-Shelf specializes in storage solutions for the kitchen, bath and closet, including two-tier cookware organizers, grooming organizers, and belt/scarf racks, plus LED lighting for residential cabinetry and commercial display fixtures. The company acquired lighting specialist Tresco Lighting in 2011 and Sidelines, a specialist in home organization and accessories, in 2019. Other recent acquisitions include Glidware in 2017 and kitchen composter CompoKeeper in 2018.

Rev-A-Shelf will be displaying its latest products at the co-located Closets Expo and Wood Pro Expo, June 8-10 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
