It was obvious that it was not the latest, and I wondered what it would look like if it restored And what surface can be achieved if we use sandpaper or water sandpaper… we see that the hammer is in good condition and usable and there is a number at the bottom I sanded the hammer, I used a lamella disc 60. after grinding, the result was quite good I held the hammer in the vice for a comfortable grip 180 grit sandpaper 400 grit sandpaper perpendicular to the last grinding 600 grit sandpaper 1200 grit sandpaper water sandpaper 3000 oil make wooden handle I used beech wood what kind of wood do you recommend for handle the hammer?
