Making Wood Pendants – Woodworking

I have a bunch of off-cuts that I am working on gluing together. They are too short to cut on the mitre saw. They are just cut-offs from when I do segmented pieces. I have been saving them for quite some time. I figured I would glue them up into blanks. I have this one particular scrap that is quite pretty. You can see there is a transition between the heart wood and sap wood there. It is a very curly piece of wood with nice grain. I was thinking to myself, "What could I make with this?" The best thing I can come up with is a pendant or two. That is what I will try to make today..
