all right we're just dropping off
at princess auto on the way up to the property because we need to get a few uh
maybe a few tools for assembling the frame i want to get a big dead blow mallet so we can
hit the timbers without doing any damage to it i should do a fist well the last pieces for my little shed are
all loaded up this has been weeks and months in planning and execution and it's all coming
together finally we've got the fashion for the dock we got all the remaining pieces for the shed
we got ladders we got hammers we're ready to rock so let's just hope that the weather holds out for

for mother nature's input okay this wood was all dry when i cut it and i was hoping
to have it assembled while it was dry but it's been pouring rain up here
and the wood has been exposed and so now the wood is wet and wet wood likes to swell
and so the joinery is going to be a lot harder to fit together because it seems like all my
tenons have grown about a sixteenth of an inch just from the rain so i'm gonna have to do
some adjusting to get these joints together hey so all right so turns out i uh cut one of the pieces too long and then put the
mortise in the wrong spot so long story short i had to make a new piece and i only had yellow cedar so it's not
going to match the rest of the fur but there's yellow cedar rafters and we're
all about diversity here you know so i'm just trying to get these joints to fit
and then carry on assembling this frame here not bad she's tight it's too swollen i think we might just peg it
after it's got a few days to dry keep going really yeah you're exhausted
