very rusty hammer this must be sandblasted to remove the hammer handle, the metal wedge must come out here first I drill the holes then I cut the threads with the following equipment I can tap out the wedge first with grit 120, then with 600 I remove the old logo, something else goes there I heat the hammer head to approx. 800°C (with the propane gas burner) tip: if you don't have an expensive thermometer – at 800°C salt melts, so sprinkle salt on top and when it melts it's done heat the oil to about 80°C adhesive foil with a scalpel I cut out the Celtic knot cotton swab, salt, 9V battery, alligator clips I pour water on the salt and mix it up "+" goes to the hammer "-" to the cotton swab with salt water now dab everything – listen carefully… the result is amazing! now prepare the hammer handle I flambĂ© the handle, for a great look
